Why can't people be nice?
I saw a man at a store yesterday, his face was so red...
And I asked him, "Are you guys standing in line?"
And he said, "Stand behind me!"
And then after he returned his wife's sexy pajama and got his refund back...
I told him, "Don't forget your keys in the shopping cart."
And he said, "It's my keys!!!"
And left.... he looked like he might kill someone... he was so
angry about something.
And I didn't do anything to him. I think he tried to take out
his anger at me. I don't know.

Mean people ruin the niceness in people no doubt. Just continue to do your nice deeds and you will be repaid in kidness as well. (I think he was mad that the wife made him take back the jammies and he didn't get any.)

There can be many reasons why he was rude to you, and you will never know why he was that way . But everyone has bad days and although there is no reason for his rudeness, people will be people. Dont let something like that ruin your day. Just keep being nice to people because maybe the next time you help someone who forgot something you might get a smile or a thank you instead of a rude remark.

Sounds like he was having a bad day. SO many people are so impatient, having to wait for anything is like the end of the world to them. He may have also been racist and didn't like the looks of you. People are ignorant..mean people are all over this world. It sucks, but there is nothing you can do about it but make sure you don't act like they do. You can be the nice one that makes someone else's day instead of ruining it.

Alot of people, unfortunately, when having a bad day, seem to take it out on other people, who have had nothing what-so-ever to do with their foul mood.
Hold your head up high, for all to see, because you were trying to be nice and to be friendly.
Probably, when this person stops to think about what he said and his reaction to you, he will feel ashamed.
Have a lovely rest of the day. Bright Blessings.

There are a lot of people out there with anger (or other) issues. Then you come along, nice and open and some instinct tells them (the angry ones): "Hey, this is a nice vat to dump my (emotional) rubbish in!" So, don't take it personally. And, however difficult, don't lose your openness - the world needs it now more than even! :)

Don't take it personal. Some people are good at being cruel. You have to ignore people like that. Maybe the pajamas were for his mistress who dumped him.

people have their bad days so everyones bound to bump into them one day or another.

Ignore them, and be yourself. A lot of people have changed their ways to fit in and have people like them, but is that the real them? No, it's not. So you'll do better just to live and be you and ignore people.

Yes. That's what I would say. Being that you only met him once I would give him the benefit of the doubt and say he was just having a bad day.
