Do you guy's think that Aussie fades color treated hair faster then other brands. Or if any of you dye your hair red do you know of any good S&C? Thanks in advance

I use Aussie. I think it's pretty great. I dyed my hair from light brown back to my natural color a few months ago and it has faded quite a bit - however, I can't say that it's the shampoo & conditioner's fault because my color always fades a bit anyway.

I recommend John Frieda in Radiant Red. I've used their Brilliant Brunette shampoo, conditioner, & glaze and they were probably the best hair products I've ever used. It really brightens up your color and makes your hair very shiny.

The only bad thing I have to say is that the glaze can get messy. It very slightly stains your hands and bathtub/showercurtan, etc. NOT permanently, it comes off quite easily but it can get annoying. If not for dying my hair black, I would still use it.

It's funny you should mention this because since I have been using aussie shampoo my hair seem, faded, not very shiny and static! I personally use brilliant brunette on my dark brown hair so maybe something from the John Frieda range would be worth a try on your red hair!

Aussie brand products were actually phased out of selling in Australia in the 90s because we didn't really like the products. So, i'd say yes, it probably fades colour.
