Whoever provides your DSL IS your ISP!

ISP is an acronym for Internet Service Provider. DSL stands for Digital Subscriber Line.

ISP is the company that provides you with the Internet service you use. DSL is just another way how you connect to the Internet other than 56Kbps modem or by cable.

DSL still needs the Internet access from an ISP and unless you have the DSL from another ISP, you will still need the ISP to access the Internet using your DSL Modem.

In order to have dsl you must have an ISP

If you have more then one ISP then yea you MAY not need the other.

ISP = Internet service provider

Whoever you have DSL through is your "ISP" ( internet service provider ).....
If you havent shut down your previous ISP provider, do it as soon as you get the dsl hooked up.....

YES, WHERE DO YOU THINK THE SERVICE IS COMING FROM? YOU DON'T NEED A THIRD PARTY COMPANY LIKE AOL OR MSN, BUT THE TELEPHONE COMPANY IS YOUR ISP.
