Hilary Clinton is too savvy a political player to deviate from the middle. She will not do anything that could hurt her chances when it came to polling time. She will not disenfranchise voters.

She is no bleeding heart liberal so don't fool yourself that she would make a huge difference. She's just another politician

Bill Clinton had his reservations about NAFTA. The agreement was initially pursued by conservatives in the United States and Canada led by Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, U.S. President George H. W. Bush, and the Mexican President Carlos Salinas de Gortari.

Public opinion tends to be positive toward NAFTA. Hillary will "ensure that globalization, however one defines it, is never a substitute for humanization, never a force for marginalization, and not an enemy of the values that have long shaped our society."

The differences between them are vast.

*He is an aggressive hawk who sees no value in diplomacy. *She is a cautious hawk that understands the value of it.

*He has angered our Allies and trashed our reputation with his arrogance and his highhandedness.
*Hillary understands and values the importance of our Allied relationships and means to restore them.

*He abandoned the War on Terror to attack a country that he was obsessed with before 9/11 ever took place. His obsession became more important than our retribution.
*She understands the need to get out from under this civil war and begin attending to Al Queda again. Now she'll have to deal with them in Iraq as well as Afghanistan thanks to George Bush.

*He has largely ignored Congress, treating them like a nuisance rather than a branch of government that deserves more of his attention and respect. Of course he never had to worry about Congress until January of this year. Before then they were his minions and nothing else.
*Hillary understands the value of having a good relationship with Congress, whether the majority is Democrat or Republican.

*He is absolutely horrible at foreign relations and has alienated more countries than he can count.
*Hillary will be excellent at foreign relations, she had the best to learn from, and she learned well.

I'm tired, grouchy and lazy, so I'll leave it at that. There is more of course, much more.

Yes politicians are pretty much the same, but Bush is really a dumb person surrounded by yes men, whereas Hillary is smarter and would have better people overall around her.
