I really want to join it but my mom said no all my friends are it looks awesome should i?

It's up to you, don't put any personal information (full name, where you live, so on so forth), but the only real hazard besides that is you spending to much time on myspace instead of other more important things

It depends on how old you are. Talk it out with your mom on why you should or shouldn't. There are still lots of reports on kidnappings and people pretending to be people that they are not on the news, so I'd wait untill that subject settles down. If I were you, I wouldn't go behind my mom's back. If you think you're responsible enough, then explain to her the reasons why you should be able to join, and then maybe she'll let you. BTW, things like this aren't as great as they seem...

Only if you're carefull with what you do and say on there. I have one but I'm really carefull. I only accept people I know or are my friend's friends, I NEVER put any pesonal information like my last name, my address, what school I go to, and my phone number. I have pictures on mine but if your mom doesn't approve you could put a picture of something else like an icon or a picture of the beach or something. If you do all that, your mom wouldn't need to worry about anything!

Myspace is awesome! Just don't put and personal info on it and i suggest that you make your profile private it's much more safe.

No. I think that you shouldn't do it because my brother has a myspace account and I don't like it when he goes on cause one time a person named tom who was 21 years old, asked my brother to meet him. so do you want that to happen to you!? I don't think so. so don't do it!!! I think that you should listen to your mom and who cares about your friends cause that might happen to them and they will get asked to meet someone that they don't know and they will probably do it. As long as you don't put any personal information on there you should be fine . If you want a safer way to get in touch with your friends you could use facebook . Facebook doesn't let strangers see what you don't want them to see .
