is there a difference between the translation in mexican spanish and spanish from spain?

when addressing one person there's no difference between mexican and spanish spanish
i only want to make you smile = (yo) sólo (or solamente, it's the same) quiero hacerte sonreir
however, when addressing more than one person it's be:
In mexican spanish: "Sólo quiero hacerlos sonreir"
In spanish spanish "sólo quiero haceros sonreir"

Not for this question, and the main difference between Mexican Spanish and Spanish from Spain, is the vosotros form. In Mexico they do not use the y'all form.
