Yes. I have bought a TON of stuff from ebay, and have bought from people with around 95 percent positive feedback plenty of times but have never had a problem. Make sure that his recent positive feedback is good, though, because sometimes people will create an account with a high positive feedback rating and then start scamming all of their customers for free money, and either quit using ebay or just make another account. As long as his recent feedback is clean, you should be ok. Someone with that many positive feedbacks is bound to be a great seller...the other 2.9 percent were probably just people who were confused about the product or just morons who did not know what they were talking about when they left the feedback. Some people don't buy shipping insurance and then leave negative feedback when the shipping service loses the package. Packages are lost sometimes, several I'm sure out of every 14,976 packages. People also leave negative feedback when the product is damaged in shipping. However, none of this is the seller's fault. Most of the time, a seller that is that active will respond to negative feedback, so read the negative feedback and then read the seller's response and you will see that the reasons that the negative feedback was left probably won't be very good ones. I say go for it, unless you can find the same product from a seller that you feel more comfortable buying from. But I personally think that a 97.1% out of 14,976 packages is a perfectly respectable feedback score. Hope this helps, and good luck.

It really depends on what you are planning to buy, because i am planning to buy some new Jordans. As i started to look through his feedbacks i'd see good things such as "A++ seller, I'll be buying more from you!" But then i saw like 3 or 4 bad feedbacks saying "Next time tell us you are selling fakes before putting out on ebay" So after reading a couple of these i decided not to buy the jordans. Basically what im trying to say is, if the item you are planning to buy has a lot of knock-offs (meaning fakes) then make sure the item you are buying is legit because i know a lot of stuff on ebay is fake. Such as bape shirts, jordans, and other shoes and shirts. So yeah...

The eBay rule of thumb is "don't buy from a seller whose feedback is below 95%." I think that 97% is pretty good, and the seller is trustworthy too. You might want to see if any of the negative feedbacks have a seller response, to explain why this feedback is negative. Also, see if any of the negatives are about the specific item/service you want to bid on.
Hope this helps!

Most definately. This shows he's had a little over 400 out of almost 15000 feedbacks that were bad. Read some of the bad ones to get an idea why he's getting bad ones. $20 says he uses a drop shipper, and the customer never received the product.

It's usually not there fault you have to read the - feedback but I would buy from them why not no one in ebay is gonna have a 100% score theres alot of people who just open accounts to do that kind of stuff.

Read the actual negative feedback! These sellers usually sell untested stuff!

I look at his most recent history. He may have done 100% and lately has been shipping items late, not answering emails. 97.1 isn't that bad

I'd trust them. When you make that many sales, no matter how good a seller you are, you are bound to have some disgrunted customers. You can't make *everybody* happy.
