I fail to see what the recruiter's education has anything to do with you going to a college or not?
The recruiter is just trying to get you to sign up. Do you care if a receptionist at your doctor's office has a medical degree or not?
You should be more concerned whether the online college will be accepted anywhere you apply. No online college is very respected, but not all employers care about that. However, some online schools are just diploma mills so you should make sure the one you're considering isn't one of those mills.

Who cares if the recruiter knows squat? They are one small step on the way to you getting a college degree. That's all that matters in the grand scheme of things.
