I've seen ads for "myspace trackers." Now what I want to know is, do they work? Are they fake, do they delete your profile or send you spam? Is it okay for me to have one on my profile? If you could help it would be appreciated...

some of them are spammers, and should be avoided. Few, and very few, only work if you sign up on the website it origniates from and then it still only tracks the information for the people who visit your page that also signed up and have the exact same tracker on their page. I suggest you find something better to place on your page and forget about the useless trackers.

They're all fake. But if you really want to know who was visiting your page, go to CreateBlog. I'm pretty sure they have some kind of site statistics thing that you can put in that'll show you your visitors, but only their IP Address, not their name or myspace name or any of that.

it only works if someone else has it. for example if i have the same myspace tracker as you do, then yeah it will work. but if we have different ones, or if i dont have one at all, then no it wont work.

The ones that advertise on myspace are fake, but http://www.profiletracker.us is real.

Some of them work. But they dont say who. Just a state/city of whoever looked at your profile.

good advice is if it appears as a flash animation advert on a page, ignore it. and if its not official its usually bad.

I have never tried them, but some of my friends have them and they recommend them to me, so I would assume they do work.
