It depends

if you're talking like

SO4 + H2 --> H(SO4)2 + H

(yeah, I know that wouldn't work) then yes, because there aren't any other Os.

But if it was PSO4 +H2O --> H(SO4)2 +POH
(yes, I know that wouldn't be possible)
then no, because there are Oxygens places other than in the polyatomic

make sense?
