I've used the term many times but now that I think of it, people call books, cars, houses and even movies gay. The other day my friend tells me this guy in our class is gay, when he's not even gay. He has a girlfriend and has tones of pictures of him and his g/f making out. Then why do people replace other words with gay all the time. Instead of saying that car is messed up, stupid, dumb, broken they say gay. Did any of you guys, ever use that term for no reason and why do you think people use it so frequently.

Language referencing homosexuality has become a societal norm. But people (even children) know GAY(homosexuality) to be something inherently NOT GOOD so they use it to identify something messed up, stupid, dumb, broken or NASTY. On the other hand, in today's society the n word (in some circles) is said to be a term of endearment. Of course there is nothing inherently bad about being Black. I doubt if anyone will ever consider GAY to be a term of endearment.

Never come across this. Why get so worked up?

Sounds like what you are really saying is that you have an identity crisis. Either you have not come out and are scared to or that you are gay and do not know how to be accepted. In that event you need help from a gay advice centre.

The other possibility of course is that you are hetero with a problem dealing with gay issues in which case you probably need more professional help.

I even have by no ability believed it became a decision. From the 2nd I see a gay man or woman i will oftentimes %. up their orientation, no longer continuously yet quite often. no count if that's that obtrusive then there are modifications. all human beings are inspired by using nature and nurture. A learn confirmed that gay adult males had sisters that had a extra appropriate quantity of youngsters than the sisters of non gay adult males. They thought this became natures way for the time of cavemen circumstances, of assisting out with the protection of the youngsters. one extra male to seek and not be slowed down with a relatives of his very own. This shows that homosexuality is a factor of nature and has a benefit, the guy has no decision. i do no longer understand all the hostility in direction of them.

haha, okay I am guilty of that. And when anything is broken down or tore up I say its ghetto. I don't think of it in terms of homosexuality though. I'm far from homophobic, so I guess it never occurred to me.
