A program called Spy Locked (www.spylocked.com) has installed itself on my computer. It is supposedly an antispyware program, but I did not install it myself. Anyone ever heard of it or know how it installed itself?

SpyLocked (Spy Locked) is a rogue program that is installed by a trojan called Zlob. Of course you need to remove SpyLocked, but more importantly, you need to ALSO remove the Zlob trojan that installed it. Zlob infects your computer and starts generating warning messages in hopes of scaring you into buying SpyLocked. Download SpyNoMore to scan your PC, it is very effective against the Zlob trojan and SpyLocked.

SpyLocked is the latest in the family of Zlob installed rogue anti-spyware programs. There is a more in depth description and removal guide at the following link:

I advise that you do not go to a site offering a solution other than a manual removal method or smitfraudfix. Using any other method is just the person trying to make money by selling you a piece of software. There is absolutely ZERO REASON that you should have to spend money to remove this infection.

SpyLocked is the latest rogue anti-spyware program to come out from the makers of SpyDawn and Virusburst. SpyLocked is installed by a trojan called Zlob, which attempts to trick you into buying the alleged rogue anti-spyware program. Once you're infected with SpyLocked, a fake security message similar to a Windows notification pops up saying your PC is infected with malware. This SpyLocked message is used to lure you into purchasing, downloading & installing their program to remove the imaginary spyware.

SpyLocked may also automatically launch at your computer's startup and scan your computer. SpyLocked can be extremely difficult to remove manually, and will continue to try to recreate itself.

This is a simple case of spyware. That is what spyware does. It downloads itself onto your computer and later it will start to get more annoying. What you can do is download or purchase a spyware blocker and destroyer. Use this to destroy the spyware if the spylocked.com spyware is detected. What I would do first is delete any contents of spylocked that you can find on your computer. If you don't do it soon it may get worse. Good luck with this.

sarcastically those anti undercover agent ware classes that get on your laptop without you understanding how. Asking you to purchase their product on the grounds which you have undercover agent ware are undercover agent ware themselves.. I recommend you get "loose" anti undercover agent ware classes and function them do away with spylock. Spybot seek & Destory and Microsoft's Defender are my favorites.
