For some reason when I find a working proxy in school it gets banned. Some proxy that aren't banned have no bandwidth. Also, I spelled it as prox y to prevent the firewall from blocking this page(weird, huh?) So is it possible to make a prox y or can you tell me a prox y that works in your school?

Yes. Use Squid - http://www.squid-cache.org/

Sure. You will need another server on the Internet, for example a computer on the internet at home that is always on (or only on during when you need it). Or, you can pay for one through an ISP, some places have accounts as low as $10/month, but make sure they allow you to run servers.

After that, you have a lot of options. If its a computer that you own, you can install squid, or Apache using the rewrite module. http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_rewrite.html

If its an account with an ISP, you could get away with just putting a CGI script like CGIProxy http://www.jmarshall.com/tools/cgiproxy/ in a web account, and following the instructions.

yes. It is possible to make your own proxy, my husband has done it before. I'm not 100% sure how to do it though.
