I know some gay men and they are not flamboyant. I also don't think that homosexuals are that large of a population percentage to justify seeing them represented in the number that they are on TV.

Are you complaining that there are too many Gay people on tv, or that they are misrepresented as all being divas?
I dont think that either is true, though to be honest. Maybe it's just where I grew up here in South Fl, or the group of friends I had, but if anything I think there are too FEW on tv vs the percentage of the populous.

I see a lot of gay emn on tv who aren't flamboyant- they are blatant because they are dating other men.
10% of the population admits to being gay- many are closeted and bisexuals are rarely counted.
I'd say thats enough people to be represented on television.
(FYI- when conducting a study on the whole population all you need is 10% to have a proven research about the population. so 10% is a recognizable portion)

What shows are you watching? As far as I know,only Bravo has many obviously gay characters and shows.
The only other one I can even think of, and I watch a lot of TV, is Reno 911.
