When I got back to my car today a lady parked next to me asked if I had scratched her car .I said I had not and she said Oh I thought maybe you had done it with a buggy.I had my childrens car seats in the back.I said no sorry if I had I would of left you a note .I checked my car when I got home just in case she had done something to mine.I really can't work out what she wanted can you. I had not hit or harmed her car I do not know her and if I had done this and was dishonest surely I would have moved my car.

Hi

It may have been a genuine enquiry due to the damage to her car which was not there when she parked up. She had obviously already checked your car for paint residue and not found any, hence the comment about the buggy.

Don't worry about it, she didn't cause a scene or a fight so she was sensible enough to accept that she wasn't going to get anywhere, and, you got home without any scratches on YOUR bodywork!!

Its probably done and dusted now.

Chill!!

Best wishes

Geordie

She was probably just looking for someone to blame for the scratches on her car. Cars get scratched so easily often from the elements, but some people automatically need or want to blame someone else for things that happen, I think it's part of human nature.
I wouldn't worry about it too much!

You did it right. Maybe she wanted just to talk with someone, I have no idea what she meant.

Document it all just in case this crack pot tries to pursue the matter.
