My sister loved living in Cleveland. She worked downtown and lived on the West side (first in Lakewood and then in Rocky River) she went against the traffic to get to work so she never had delays. I loved visiting the city. The rent and home prices are pretty average with the rest of the mid-west (Michigan, Ohio and Indiana). Everything was easy to get to and in and around.

Lakewood has rent from $395 (studio) up to 1400 (house or luxury apartment). Home prices are the same you can find something cheap up to high end on the lake shore.

Oh- one more thing, the West side of Cleveland isn't in the snow belt. The East side of the city gets hammered by the snow from the lake (lake effect).

Excuse many of the publish Cleveland has a lengthy status historic previous of East ingredient vs. West ingredient & everybody consistently desires to declare how the East ingredient is undesirable besides the fact that if this is rather very great and extremely distinctive areas. a number of the places stated are no longer as crime ridden as some people attempt to declare. in any case i do no longer see why you does no longer desire to stay in Mayfield Hts. this is close on your activity, and the loose way so in case you desire to bypass downtown you're suited there, additionally there is a lot places to bypass finding out to purchase in that area. Non loose way get right of entry to to Mayfield Hts area great places may be Cleveland Hts., college Hts., Lyndhurst, Richmond Heights, Beachwood, and South Euclid. & sure there is an exceedingly great Jewish inhabitants over right here on the East ingredient. There are areas of Euclid this is rather great and additionally Wickcliff isn't that some distance removed from Mayfield Hts the two. in case you like a greater distinctive area with distinctive unique shops examine out Cleveland Hts.
