Hi,my name is Ashar and my
mother tongue is Urdu.Ji nahi and nahi refers to the answer given which means no.The only difference between them is that the first one is used for giving the answer in a better and polite manner. Both mean the same but the difference is that the first one is used for giving someone respect. The first one is generally used in the areas of Lucknow, Bihar and
Hyderabad.

Ji Nahi means no please. It is a refined way of refusing or not agreeing. It may be used for anyone senior, junior or comrade.

Nahi is without any emotion just plain no specially used with strangers to discourage the topic.

'nahi' just means no.

when you add the word 'ji' to it, you are just making it more respectful (not necessarily for seniors as someone mentioned)

its kinda like saying "no" and "no, thank you"...it just sounds better and not as casual
