Also, if you were to buy exactly the same products in 2006 and 1930, they would cost you $10 and $0.88 respectively.

You would need to look for a site that gives 'Inflation over the years'.

You should then to be able to calculate the values.

**Small point - if your Tenner was spent in 1930 - it can't be worth anything now, it's been spent ! ;-)
