Do you think that this technology will be good or bad for the world?

Nano is already introducing new discoveries about material properties in many fields.
I can think of a couple of areas, although I know it's all over the scientific news...so just google it
1) Energy Sector - manufactoring of new solar cells using nano-sized materials that are cheaper
2) Medical Field - one can attach nanoparticles to various drug molecules (used like markers) and than can be used to get better insight on how the drug molecule interacts with the body
3) Food packaging - this is just one of the areas where nano materials properties are used to better the quality of the product

Nanotechnology will allow for great advances in bio-medical technology, engineering, robotics, and many other applications. The future environmental disasters may be staved off through nanotechnology.
This technology will be a boon for future citizens.

It depends like all technologies on what it's used for. So far I haven't heard of any practical applications.
