Navy OCS candidates take the Officer Aptitude Battery. they do NOT take the ASVAB.

the Navy uses different recruiters for enlisted and Officers. make sure you are speaking to the right one. the enlisted recruiter is supposed to steer you to an Officer one if you have the requisite degree in hand, but many times they will fail to do so(happened to my husband)

to be competitive, you need a 4 year degree in a hard science with a 3.5 or better GPA as well as leadership roles in organizations.
