Our military is an integral part of our existence here. We have the ability to provide others with the ability to enjoy freedoms we have. If this means using the military we take such pride in, provide unending training in and financing to, then we should use it. Anyone who signs willingly on the line to adhere to the contract as a military member has an obligation to fulfil it. I am a very proud member of the military, and I am willing to go the extra mile for others to have what we have here in America. I am proud of my military brothers and sisters and embarrassed for those who oppose the meaning behind what we do.

To begin with, unlike some of the yahoos I've seen on here, I NEVER bad mouth our troops. If you've never been in combat, you have no right what so ever to say ANYTHING against ANY of our troops.
Secondly, I belong to a group who stand for those who have stood for us. We do welcome home missions (our favorite), farewell missions (for our men and women who go off to the sand box), and our least favorite, standing for our fallen heroes when they go to their final resting place.
You don't have to be a biker OR a vet to be part of us. There is no membership fee, no membership dues, and no meetings. You just have to care and be willing to give some of your time.
This weekend, after a St. Pat day parade, several of us rode 50 miles to a small town to stand for U.S. Army Sgt Michael C. Peek and his family during his funeral (final internment will be in Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday). It was cold, it rained and it snowed, but to the 13 bikers and two cagers, it was well worth the 100 mile round trip in the cold. Another bike group(I will not embarrass their nationally known name) showed up, but they didn't stay, the went in, came out and left.

Me personally? Well, let's see:
I'm an Army wife, and proud of it. I'm involved in the FRG (Family Readiness Group), I volunteer (I have certificates and other stuff for my volunteering), I've given emotional support to spouses whose mates were deployed, and I've also helped gather supplies for care packages, as well as sent many myself.
I fielded phone calls, helped keep rumors to a minimum (which is VERY valuable when nearly every man on post is deployed), disseminated information, and sent sympathy cards.

And I support my husband emotionally.

THAT is how I support our military.

All protection rigidity people do no longer trust this actual statement. I definitely have associates in the protection rigidity, and that all of them have differing evaluations about the election. one in all my associates is in Iraq today. he's operating an excellent corporation (protection rigidity, so i'm no longer gentle putting forward the position). He says that even as they are doing great things over there, it really is time for them to come back living house. the U. S. protection rigidity has executed all that they could do, and it really is time for the Iraqi people to face on their personal. He says that maximum of his unit feels this way, as well. accordingly, the candidate that brings them living house, in an honorable way, is the candidate those particular persons help.

I do like most Americans do. I slap a couple of magnet ribbons on my SUV and drive to the mall and back.
