I wouldn't really call it a new property, but you will find out if aluminum is a more active metal or a less active metal than copper. More active metals will replace less active metals in their compounds, so, if copper is more active than aluminum, you will find that absolutely nothing happens. If aluminum is more active than copper, the aluminum will dissapear and be replaced by copper (you will see a red/brown coating or powder appear on the aluminum surface. BTW, aluminum is a more active metal than copper.
