I think it might depend on where you look. If you're going to Hollister, Abercrombie and Ftich, and the other trendy stores, you're likely to find the dirty jeans with a very expensive price. If I wanted dirty, beat up looking jeans I would just go to a thrift store or rummage sale and pay next to nothing while doing much better good for society and the enviroment.
If you go to, say, Sears or JC Penny, they're likelty to have more "grown up" jeans without the vintage look. Heck, try Goodwill. That's where I found my jeans. Good brands (Lerner NY and Express; The Express are my favorite). Great prices (under $5) and I didn't give coporate America a penny while helping a good cause and giving more life to two good pairs of jeans. Well, you might have some success at Wal-Mart, but I'm not a Wal-Mart fan.

hey! i was homeless for 13 years, and dirty jeans were never! out of fashion! in fact, i used to find! better jeans in dumpsters than the store like target has! ha! ha!
