What is the balanced chemical equation of the reaction between tetramminecopper (II) sulfate monohydrate and hydrochloric acid? I think it should produce a salt and water, but don't know which salt it makes. Thanks!

If the Copper complex is a solid:

Cu(NH3)4SO4*H2O (s) + 4 HCl (aq) --> CuSO4 (aq) + 4 NH4Cl (aq) + H2O (l)

If the Copper complex is disovled in water:

Cu(NH3)4SO4 (aq) + 4 HCl (aq) --> CuSO4 (aq) + 4 NH4Cl (aq)
