Fire is funny when you are a under the influence of a chemical high. Fire is not funny to most people. Fire is definitely fascinating to many people - but not funny.

It is funny to you only. If you haven'y felt it before then of course you think it is funny. People like to see other people suffer, since they are not the one suffering. That is our nature to laugh at others' pain. You amke me sick. Fire is nowhere near funny. Imagining losing your home to it, your parents, your siblings, pet, clothes, everything turned into ash and things melted into each other. Yeah imagine your parents' corpses, fire licking at them and them screaming in pain for hours and hours, people would rather jump 1000 miles off a cliff than burn to death. Your siblings and family moaning and toasting...slowly, minute by minute. Still think its funny?

Strange question! As a 36 year vet. in firefighting, death associated with fire is not funny. However: it is funny in it doesn't always follow predicted routes, doesn't always do predicted damages, and doesn't always kill firemen who disregard training.
