Do alcohols undergo reduction reactions ? Explain with reason.

It is virtually impossible to reduce alcohols. The oxygen would have to be removed, turning the molecule back into a hydrocarbon.

You can dehydrate them, removing water and forming an alkene, but this is not reduction.
