It's chipped with a mod chip. Since then I had it modded the cds dont work only DVD discs. Help me out Here?

all i know is that in your ps2 there is a white wheele[looks like a sprocket] and u turn that so the laser beam reads cds and other discs better.you have to take your ps2 all apart[if your comfortable with that]and u should see it.i have done it 4 me & my friends.either that or your ps2 compact disc software has really died.......good luck!!!

bye a new ps2 and chip that one maybe or take the chip out some how and they should work.
