why does pulse increase with stress or exercise.....its a question for homework but i just kind find it anywhere and parents have no clue like in 8th grade so dont have it as a high school answer

Your heart has to beat faster to pump more blood, thats enriched with oxygen, throughout your whole body (because your body needs a lot more oxygen as you excercise). Hope this helps

When you exercise your blood pumps faster to supply oxygen to the necessary organs. Ur pulse thereby speeds up. That's the basic idea. Pulse is the rate at which your blood pumps through the body i.e the rate at which the heart beats or "the rhythmic contractions & expansion of the arteries with each heart beat".

isnt after workout and resting a similar factor? in case you mean why is one's pulse extra effective in the time of workout, then its using fact your heart is pumping extra blood, and much speedier in the time of workout
