I lent a so called friend $50.00 2 weeks ago, because she needed it. She told me she was not getting her next pay check until the 14th of this month (yesterday) so I telephoned her today, and said can you pay me back the money you borrowed? She said.." I don't have to pay you back" I never signed anything! I was so pissed off! So anyway...it was $50.00 that I will not ever see from her! And besides she was a work associate(Government Worker), that I use to work with. She telephoned me and gave me this story how she needed the money, sad story. I being the kind hearted person that I am spoke to my husband and he said not to because I only knew her for a little time (8 months)....so against my better judgement took her sad *** story into consideration, and after her telling me she would promise to repay me on her payday , she said she never signed anythng so she don't owe me money!!!!!! Well I was so hurt, because she lied to me! I have learned from this, Why are people so dishonest?

You have learned a great lesson. Everyone is not like you. People basically live for there own pleasure and needs.
Some truly , when in need mean to do the right thing, then don't. Some never had any good intent.
People you share good times with, you don't always know the content of their character.
The fact that you are shocked and surprised gives me a glimpse of yours.
Be slow to trust. I am very much older than you and still , they get me , not because of their genius but because of the softness of my heart.
If I am correct, it will not be the last time someone will get you this way.
Never loan, what you cannot afford to lose. Don't allow someones evil intent change who you are.

people are dishonest because they love hurting other people its a habit like being on drugs i guess they aditcted to hurting others i would copy what you put in here make copies with her name post every where i could so people could see what kind of person she really is i would even run it in the local paper that would break her from the habit

This has happened many times to me,,,dumb me, but kind me. I would want to p---- the s--- out of her. All you can do is have no more contact with her. Her day will come. =)
