I have a Urinary Tract Infection. I went to the after hours doctor last night, because I was in so much pain, those of you who have ever had one know what I'm talking about. I already knew what it was when I started hurting, because I've had one before. I get to the doctor and they do a urine test, and find puss, and protein in my urine. So he perscribes me some antibiotics (ciprofloxacin 500MG), and some pain pills. I got up this morning and took the antibiotic with a full glass of water just like it says, and not even 20 minutes later it makes me throw up. The last time that I had a UTI I was also perscribed antibiotics, and they made me feel like crap, but I never threw up. So my question is, do I need to tell the doctor to put me on a different kind, or do I keep taking these until my body gets used to them? I mean it seems like they wouldn't work if I was throwing up after I take it, right? What should I do?
