It started about a month ago when i came back from school. I found my dog limping and in pain. So i brought it to a vet, He told me that something had hit her (My dog,a Jack Russel Terrier, About 3 years old) on the back which caused the problem and that it would be fine after 3 weeks. But after two days she was healthy again, climbing up and down stairs as usual.
Out of a sudden, today she begin limping again in the same manner as the last time. Her hind legs seem to be inmobile and unable to move much even though she can still move, she can't climb stairs. When I tried to carry her she would screech as if I had touched the wound somewhere causing pain. I am very worried about my dog can someone please help me.

Of course you should go either back to the same vet or get another opinion. Are you sure this is the same injury. Who hit your dog the first time. There is something very wrong going on here. You may be to young to do anything to stop the person from hitting your dog. But animal cruelty is a crime and the local police or aspa may be able to help. Seek them out and stop who ever or whatever is abusing your dog. And if by chance it is you, stop it , its a crime, it is cruel and not something that should be done.

Have your vet check her spine - my daschund did the same thing after an injury and it was a growth on her spine that actually paralysed her. The vet initially said it was just the old injury that had gotten aggravated, until she couldn't wwalk any more. It was a growth the size of a golfball. We've changed vet and reported the old one for not being thorough.
You can't be too careful with an injury that seems to not go away.

Take to vet immediately, they will have to xray to find out why there is no movement of the back legs, sounds like a pinched nerve, but I'm not a vet.
Next time limit the dogs activity for a few weeks while she is healing, no exercise, no stairs, no running or jumping. Vets will give you sedatives if you have problems keeping them inactive, also benedryl will work but they need a higher dosage than humans to calm them down (ask a vet)
When my dog broke her toe I had to keep her inactive for four weeks.
Good Luck hope your dog is ok.

She needs to go back to the vet for some xrays. Call them, explain to them the situation and get an appointment asap. Tell the receptionist it is an emergency, that your dog can not use her hind legs and you want to be seen today. If they are not helpful, then you want to speak to the vet asap.
There could be internal problems, maybe a kidney injury (sometimes they mimic back problems), her back could have a pinched nerve or a dislocated disc. But she is in pain and this required immediate attention.
Good luck to you both.

It sounds like she took a very bad injury to the back. I would strongly recommend immediately taking your dog back to the vet and having x-rays done. If that vet says again "she should be fine", go to a different vet. Obviously your dog is not ok and needs immediate help. Do not put this off.

Take your Jack back to your vet. If your not confident, take to a different vet in your area. First determine if he/she is in constant pain and duress, if so take to an emergency clinic as soon as possible. Demand that xrays are taken. Is your dog a senior? You might want to determine if the problem is in the hips. There is a ton of explanations. As a responsible pet owner you are responsible to provide medical attention and neglecting to do so could result in criminal charges against you.

Tell the vet that saw your dog the first time that the same problem has returned. They'll know what to do.

Well, that vet sounded like no help AT ALL.
bring her to a different vet and see what they say.
For now, try and keep her laying in her bed chewing on a bone or somthing. Dont really let her walk around.
It may make the problem worse.
good luck!
hope your doggy gets better soon!
