I have both systems. There really isn't much of a difference between the to consoles. The graphics MAY be better on the 360, but to me it is not noticeably so.
And as far as the X BOX games being played on the 360..well, lets just say it is not very well done and a lot of their popular games such as Mech Assault wont convert. Also the games that supposedly CAN be played on the 360 are full of glitches and are problematic when playing them.
This is the big reason why we play the WII more...it is fun and very unique...it gets you IN the game and not just playing around with the controls. Good exercise too!

there is a big difference in graphics,games,and other things and xbox games can be played on both consoles

Xbox 360 is newer and has better grafics.
yes it can play xbox games
