We're just at the beginning stage of looking into a suggestion of one of our physicians to set up our own lab so that we can do our own pathology. We're trying to determine the cost of equipment, computers, software, etc. so that we can add that to our knowlege of the cost of the staff and compare these results against known case re-imbursement amounts to create a feasibility study.
Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

you'll need to hire a consultant on this one, b/c of all the rules and regulations you will have to comply with. it's a very complex issue that you need to look at before you even start thinking about cost. there are many, many rules, regulations, and laws in the u.s. for this sort of venture.
