Im studying for a test and was wondering these answers...thx....
DEALING WITH ROOTS.

This showed up in chemistry, so I don't have much for you. But I can tell you that your #5 is upside down. Xylem transports water and minerals up from the roots and phloem transports sugars down. It makes sense; the photosynthetic portions of the plant are above the roots, and the sugars produced must be transported down, while water and minerals from the ground are absorbed by the roots and need to be distributed up through the plant.
