You burn calories in your body. This is an exothermic reaction to generate the energy you need to live.

An endothermic reaction is when you sweat. This cools your body down by absorbing the heat into the evaporation of the sweat.

One exothermic ( or endothermic, I get the two mixed up) is burning a candle. Another is melting an ice cube or melting the snow off of the sidewalks.
