There's probably going to be a PS2 price drop this year. Question is when. It could be this summer or it could be as late as the winter holidays.

Might as well go with the PS3 because the PS3 can play almost all PS2 games, and it can play PS3 games. God of War 2 is probably going to be the last big hit for the PS2. The PS2 is expected to be around for another year or 2, but it's not going to get a lot new games. The PS3 will get most of the new games.

The ps2 has the comparable written programming by way of fact the PSx (fat playstation, unique) and the PSone (smaller version of the playstation , a.ok.a., PSX)...... As for the psthree (PS3), the programming is excellent corresponding to what they used for the Sega Genesis (SG400 or SG)......merely that the PS3 has greater desirable determination then the SG400... As for paying for a PS3, do no longer for a year or 3, the fee will drop notably!!!! Get a ps2 (PS2), no longer a slender one, those don't have the enter for a modem and likewise are VERY VERY flimsy....( in assessment).... you will save money, and get the two certainly one of Sony's greater present day activity consols....... Highly doubted, as the PS2 right now is doing much better than the PS3 (which bombed)
