well Berti when you do marry somebody from Canad ,yes it will be easier to get in . But you will be checked by the immigration to make sure you do know your partner ! Better yet make sure you marry for love , not just for immigration

Yes it is a good way BUT buyer beware on both sides (meaning you and the one you marry!)
- The Canadian that marry you has to sponor and suport you without help from no goverment (meaning Welfare)
- If you leave him or her (Same sex marriage allowed in Canada) they will still be stuck suporting you.
- You may app to be sent back if etheir party gives faulse statement to gov.
- They do and will check out all avenues (As is their job to this )
- They will make home visit without warning.
Our Laws have been known to be lacking in some of these areas but not since Sept. 11.
THEY HAVE IMPROVED! So it had better be for love and nothing more.
Good luck, in hopes of finding the Canadian dream.
Is there a loving person in waiting, may I ask?

No. gay/lesbian marriage and civil unions at the instant are not regarded in federal regulation or immigration regulation. Your buddy's gf became living interior the US, and that's unlawful. Visa Waiver is barely for tourism, and usually if in for ninety days, then out a minimum of ninety days. needless to say the gf isn't retaining down a job in Canada. Now that she has been refused get right of entry to, it is not likely that she would be admitted lower back to US interior the destiny. might desire to bypass to the gf in Canada. The gf's goose is cooked for violations of VWP regulations. exceptionally no longer likely she will qualify for any form of visa now anymore. And a lesbian courting by no ability became any grounds for any form of visa at first.

Well, if you are married, there are no questions asked, as long as you have a marriage certificate. If you are not, you will be asked to prove that your Canadian partner and you have lived together for at least one year and "have combined your affairs and have set up your household together in one home":
