a,b,c would dissolve
d is insoluable in water
e would bubble up through it

(a) Potassium Sulphate - I think all potassium salts are soluable. Most of them are, anyway.

(b) Copper Nitrate - likewise for all nitrates

(c) Ethanol - else how would we drink our booze?

(d) Diamond - DUH! Even graphite is insoluable

(e) Ethane gas - well, many organic compounds are not miscible with water to begin with, and ethane is a gas. Ooh - look it has a low soluability in water. You could dissolve a little bit of it. Interestingly, you can use ethane and steam to produce ethylene.
