Which is more reactive, hexane or octane and WHY?

I need to know which is more reactive, not which is more volatile.

Hexane is more volatile, because it has a lower Mr and therefore lower intermolecular forces, so it would be slightly more flammable than octane, but otherwise there is precious little difference between the two.
