phdpsych seems to have a very interesting experiment but I would not recommend it. 2 very easy ones are:
1. empty soda bottle, baloon, baking soda and vinegar. Put 3-4 ozs vinegar in the bottle. Add a tablespoon of baking soda, Put balloon over the opening - Watch what happens.
2. Dissolve sugar into a solution (heating speeds this up) in a beaker. Tie one end of a piece of string to a pencil. Lay the pencil on the top edge of the beaker, with one end of the string touching the solution. Watch the sugar crytstals grow on the string.

Google search for science lessons. Choose the ones for your grade level. Lots of teachers have posted their ideas on-line and you just need to find an interesting one and follow the links.

It rocks. (I've used some of the grade 7-12 materials on the underpriv college freshmen I've mentored.)
