Human life does not actually begin until there is some conception of religion (dharma). But in the present age, Kali-yuga(the age of hypocrisy and quarrel), dharma is practically nil—there is no religion or morality, and there are no pious activities—and therefore according to Vedic calculations the present human civilization does not even consist of human beings. Formerly people would care about morality and immorality, religion and irreligion, but with the progress of Kali-yuga this is all being vanquished, and people can do anything, without caring what it is. Srimad-Bhägavatam says, and we can actually see, that in Kali-yuga about eighty percent of the people are sinful. Illicit sex life, intoxication, meat-eating, and gambling are the four pillars of sinful life, and therefore we request that one first break these four pillars, so that the roof of sinful life will collapse. Then by chanting Hare Krishna one can remain established in a transcendental position. It is a very simple method. Then you will see that God never forgot about you.

I believe it is from lack of faith in the believers. The people around God in the Bible were full of faith and exercised it. We today seem to think He should just do it, but God works through faith. That's why I think a lot of things that happen in third world countries or other places happen because the people are truly hungry for God. We need to build our faith and have no doubt and then He'll perform. BTW, I have seen miracles with my one eyes. It doesn't have to be earth-shattering to be the work of God. The sun coming up every morning for example. He holds it, the stars, the planets in the palm of His hand(mid air). We have to believe!

Oh, I dunno. Ask the fireman who was in the world trade center when it turned to dust all around him and he was saved in an upper story CORNER which remained in tact as it fell.
I cant think of anything. Maybe ask those hundreds of people who for various reasons did not show up at work on 9-11, when normally they would have been there at the World Trade Center.
Oh, I haven't a clue. Maybe ask the few who walked away from car crashes, plain crashes and other disasters which logically should not have only killed them dead but rendered them hamburger meat.
Oh, how I wish I could just think of one example of a miracle. Like witnessing the birth of a child.
I guess you're right. Miracles don't happen anymore. . There's lots more, but you would dismiss them all as coincidence. Even if God parted the Sea of Reeds (red sea) again right in front of your eyes, you'd still be skeptical.
God has nothing to prove to you. He saves who he saves, and for his reasons. He creates miracles for those he deems needs a miracle. Lets just hope He finds it expedient to save your butt in a critical crunch. But since you pretty much mock him, don't expect it.

Where can I hide from your spirit?
From your presence, where can I flee?
If I ascend to the heavens, you are there;
if I lie down in Sheol, you are there too.
If I fly with the wings of dawn
and alight beyond the sea,
Even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand hold me fast.
(Psalm 139:7-10)
Most Monotheists including Jews, Christians, and Muslims believe that God is omnipresent (everywhere).
Even when miracles were happening all over the place at certain times in the Bible, most of the people just ignored them and went on with their lives. There is no reason to believe we are any more spiritual now than they were then.
Do not use the lack of a visible presence of God in the world as an excuse not to believe.
Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
Jesus said to him, "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed." (John 20:28-19)
With love in Christ.

you're actual spectacular. the belief of a god to me is only absurd. explanation why I waited until i became approximately 14 in the previous I became an atheist, extremely than deconverting at with regards to the age of 10 as quickly as I first all started thinking god's existence, became using fact i became scared. concern of going to hell became the only factor that made me stay a christian for many of years. Then there got here a level whilst logic and rationality overruled the terror of spending eternity in hell and that i became a proud atheist ever in view that :)

God has moved on to more interesting projects, thank you very much. Don't forget that this universe was thrown together in 6 days. Obviously not a major effort and it shows.

There is all kinds of stuff as you say going on, but it has nothing to do with God, and just so you know God dose not interfere with the physical world as you would like, and he never will.

Most of it right now "is behind the scene's." Soon it will manifest into this "natural world." And there is going to be "a whole lot of shaken going on" to break the "Pride" of man.

I'm not sure what you call 'cool', but I thought the reformation of Israel as a sovereign state, as per prophecy, was pretty cool.
