Ok so I'm just about done with the infection still cleaning it daily sea salt in the morning and soap while in the shower at night. Because I have been messing with it this whole time cleaning it I'm starting to get little irritation water bumps around it. I have excema so is this normal? What can I do to get rid of them just let them be and wait till they go? Is there some kind of irritation cream I can use without irritating the piercing. Also there is still some yellow discharge. Will this eventually go away as long as I keep cleaning it? I've had the piercing for 8 months and its the first time I've had an infection.

the same thing happened to me! and i also have excema. u might be cleaning it too much. the seasalt is actually drying out ur skin even more. try using dial instead and limit cleaning it to in the shower only.

With body piercings, there's never a promise that the infection will go away. However, if you go to the doctor he will be able to prescribe you a mild antibiotic to help knock it out. It's normal for water bumps to form with excema, but I don't know how to get them to go away. Check with the doctor, and good luck.

igot the infection in my ear when i had my second piercing. i started to do the same thing and it kind of got worse. my mom then said that i should leave it alone and only use (you know the liquid thing that you usually get when you got a pierce) and if it is still there go to the doctor

Have you seen your Dr. about the piercing?8 months for a piercing to heal is not normal.I would get it checked, you may be a diabetic and that causing the infection.Be careful with it.Thanks for 2.
