Why heck yeah! Then I could teach my clone to not make all the dumb mistakes that I made in my life.

Absolutely not. There are too many question that can't be resolved. If you clone a human, do you own the clone? How can you own another human being in today's society? If your clone commits a crime, leaves fingerprints and DNA evidence at the scene, should you be good for the jail term? Are you going to use the clone for spare parts, so if you need a new liver you take it from the clone? Since the clone is a human being and taking its liver will kill the clone, isn't that murder? Does a clone get a right to vote? If someone else on Earth has to go hungry because you must feed your clone, how do you justify that? All that is before we start talking about religion.

No, only for the fact that the planet is already overpopulated. It'd be putting more of a strain on the economy.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! We have one God already, we don't need anymore. There are too many chiefs and not enough Indians as it is. LEAVE NATURE ALONE before we become extinct.
