I share this computer with others and have a problem because someone is stopping me viewing all the tools in Administative Tools. There is more then one Administrator account and this can't be changed but is there a way that i can hide these programs so no-one can access them and changed them. I have just reformated to gain access again so want to set computer up to stop people editing regedit and other system folders.

Right click My Computer
Select Manage
Click the plus sign next to users
Select group
Right click power users, select Add to Group

Here you can enter user names for accounts that you have created, and give them the power user authority, which will prevent them from editing any important windows files.....

Create the other accounts as "Standard Users". There is no need to run an OS as an administrator for daily routine things. Limit the number of users with administrator rights and you will have less problems.

An administrator account cannot be modified for certain privileges. Just make new accounts and keep the main administrator account password protected.
