I have a dell inspiron 1150 notebook, i want to buy a new hard drive and i was wondering if there was a gigabyte limit that the 1150 would support? also does anyone have any recommendation on which one should i buy?

There should be no limit that you can hit on that notebook.

Though, if you are using service pack 1 still on windows XP, your partitions will be limited to 127Gb unless you upgrade to sp2.

2 tera-bytes is the limit for any comp, well, just a tad under it.

Being you have a Dell, i would contact or research Dell to see would be best suited for your notebook.
