why is the uscis web site restricted?

I have had the same problem before. Also at one time my cell number was restricted from the embassy extensions. Maybe it was because I bugged them a lot... who knows? I don't want to make you paranoid or anything but they do have means to block your personal computer access as well as your cell number. They have probably already tapped into your line...

I just logged into it with no problem.

If you using your company computer, maybe they have a filter on it that blocks the site for one reason or another.
