I went to Walmart today. I needed paper cups but all they had were dixie cups with mexican children and spanish words on them. Walmart was also playing music with Spanish lyrics.

Enjoy America now. In a few years, it will be like Tijuana.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Barbie is in Spanish now too. Maybe they'll come up with an illegal alien Barbie with twins.

It's the sad truth - They're spreading throughout this nation and don't begin to think that they'll stop at California. Our rights as Americans are being totally violated. There's no doubt that unless our politicians do something about this or a civil war occurs - this country will be another Mexico and there will be no American dream. Once this nation goes down, so does the rest of the world.

That would be El Norte de Mexico. It could happen if the Hispanics have their way. I work in construction in Dallas. I picked up a black painter one day at Otra Parte, a night club where all the illegals stand to get work. He told me that all they talk about is taking back Texas as a part of Mexico by their sheer numbers. Also, when he and I arrived at the job site where we were working, I realized that all my electric tools had been stolen. I am sick of these people.

Well, then they'd have to rename Baja California Lower Northern Mexico, which is a bit of a mouthful.

why not the whole country?
Where I live at least half of my town and the surrounding towns are at lest 50% or Hispanic. My walmart also plays their ads in Spanish as well as English. Sometimes you can see the ads in the newspaper in Spanish too. I found one a few days ago.Today that same ad was in English.

This is just one of the reasons why I don't shop at Wal-Mar-to if I can help it.

In Washington, DC, all announcements on Metrorail and Metrobus are in Spanish. We listen to countless announcements, Senior.

Think about your question for just one moment. If they rename it "Northern Mexico" then the name would partly be English! And California is already a Spanish word! So what you propose is actually contradicting what you feel.

Walmart is adopting Spanish in order to attract more customers because many people in California are Mexicans. Thus, if you have a complaint, file it with their customer service so that proper action will be made.

Mexicans have lived in all of the border states for many years now--For that matter, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and maybe southern California were all probably part of Mexico at one time.

I know how you feel and it isn't just the border states feeling it.

I'm in NC on the coast and due to the booming amount of new houses being built, we have had a huge influx of illegals...

Just because Walmart is playing spanish songs, or have mexican childen and spanish words on them doesn't mean that California, as a whole, is as you say "Northern Mexico". There are also mexican people in California, not just white people, so I'm sorry that Walmart was just trying to cater to them as well... Think about the people who just came to America and are trying to make it. You dont think that it's nice for Walmart to cater to them as well? California is diverse, it isn't just white people or black people or asians or whatever. It's a mix.
