Is it a common practice for Apple to bind the latest OS release (Leopard this time) with Mac Book (pro) as soon as the OS is released? Or it will be a long while between the OS release data and the time they build the OS into hardware?

Apple will probably install Leopard with all the current Macs in their inventory when it is released along with upgrades to anybody that wants one.
