Hey, I'm a 16 year old guy. My girlfriend had gotten me acrylic nails when we had a backwards day up at our school. I ending up liking them and I told my girlfriend this and she was cool with it. I have kept them on since then and I am prob going to go get the redone this weekend while my girlfriend goes. Is it ok that I like these nails. Look, People are going to say who cares, and people are going to say it's weird. The only thing that matters is if you can handle the mixed critisism. I think it's cool that a guy isn't afraid to "show his feminine side". Society has told us that guys have to be total muscle-heads that go for the sexy girls and don't cry. The fact that you're "going against society" is..actually, really cool. Your girlfriend is lucky to have you.

That's gross! No it is not ok for u to have acrylic nails! You're a guy! It's not masculine! If u just want ur nails to b stronger, then at least get tthe acrylic short, round, and clear! Not a square french tip!

I say go for whatever you want. Other people will just have to deal... its not their nails. If you like em, you like em! Just enjoy whatever ya do! I dont think its weird. I think its different, but not weird. Its kinda cool to know that someone wants to do something the slightest bit different then the "in crowd."

I'm a guy, and privately, I don't like long nails. We know a lot of like lengthy, painted nails cause they're "so pretty", but I don't like them.

A little bit of nail is fine... but I agree along with you. Long nails are kinda low.
