I need help...where can i get a makeover in NY.?

i'm meeting a friend for the first time for a dinner date. we only talked.we have known each other for over a year but have not met in person. I'l be flying in to NY for a week on a work assignment. We have decided to finally meet in late May in NY. I am a tshirt and jeans kinda gal with simple makeup.(i dont wear or even have dresses)I would like to do myself up with the makeup and dress up for once for our special date.I need help.Any idea where i can get a makeover -hair, make-up and dressing up -the whole works without burning a big hole in my pocket.I am excited to meet him and looking forward to a wonderful,memorable, magical times and a night to remember and more.

you know, i see ads like this ALL of the time on www.craigslist.com

women post ad's looking for another woman to give her a makeover. they usually post the price range and list everything theyd like done.

if youre interested, go to that site, and then to the right, click the area you'll be in, and then choose the best category to post. include the day you'll be there, and any requirments you may have. just be sure to meet in a public place before going though with it. good luck! :)

well u can't do it all in ONE spot but ...in one store ....... go to the Macy's Beatuy+makeip section they give makeovers there .......u can go to the womens clothing section and look for a dress ......and if u need help then just ask an employe or a friendly looking person next to u if the dress looks good on u ....... then the costly thing would probbably be the hair go to a salon ....(there everywhere) and find a couple hair do's u like , then ask the stylist which one They think would look best or what they recomend ...(it won't be akward ..... it's there job :) )u will look great ... and i think your date will think so to!!!!! :)

go to macys, they will show you what to do with your makeup and you can pick out the dress there, too.
